A revised preliminary bid evaluation notice is available in the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Bidding System (DBidS). The notice reflects a new 10 business day due date, Friday, June 12, 2015, for which you have an opportunity to verify with the applicable organization(s) that the requirement(s) was met by the close of bidding. The due date, when you must verify any unmet requirement(s), has been extended to Friday, June 12, 2015. Please disregard any previously downloaded or printed versions of the notice.
IMPORTANT: If you receive a notice stating that all enrollment requirements were met, it does not guarantee that the applicable bid(s) will be eligible for a contract offer. Your bid(s) may still be disqualified if, during the bid evaluation process, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finds that any of the bidding requirements in the Request for Bid (RFB) instructions were not met. All bids are considered final once bidding closes and cannot be amended or changed.
NOTE: This preliminary review does not include a review of your financial documents, which is a separate review and notification process. This preliminary review is also separate from the Covered Document Review process. Please see the Covered Document Review Date fact sheet for more information on the covered document review process.
Refer to the Preliminary Bid Evaluation fact sheet on the Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) website for more information on this process.
