Below you will find new single payment amounts (SPA) for items included in the Round 1 Rebid of the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program. Under the program, the existing DMEPOS fee schedule payment amounts will be replaced with the single payment amounts for selected items when the program is implemented on January 1, 2011, in the nine competitive bidding areas (CBAs).

The Medicare Modernization Act of 2008 (MMA) requires the amounts paid under the Competitive Bidding Program be less than the amounts payable under the existing payment schedule. Round 1 Rebid is projected to result in payment amounts that are an average of 32 percent less than Medicare's fee schedule rates for the nine product categories included in the program. Additional information on the projected savings is available in the List of Contract Suppliers section of this website.

Single payment amounts for all product categories and for individual product categories are available for download below in both Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and Microsoft Excel (XLS) format.

The Round 1 Rebid contracts for mail-order diabetic supplies ended on December 31, 2012, so information about the Round 1 Rebid mail-order diabetic supplies product category no longer applies.
